This bachelor thesis focuses on the biomass usage for energy generation in particular on comparison to wooden between hay pellets. First part is dedicated to fuel attributes, solid fuel boilers and pertaining legislation. Second part deals with an experiment which compares burning of both types of pellets in an automatic hot water boiler. The proximate analysis of fuels is conducted as well.
